Scattered some jets around a torus knot, and used the torus to generate a spline path for the camera to follow. I thought this would simulate flight, but the jet's sort of appear static. I might use this method for a landscape inside a torus. Anyway, you can download the scene file for this in the Files section.

Here is the 3ds MAX file with the camera, Torus knot, and scatter set up. I didn’t include the jet model, but there are some instruction in this folder for how to choose your own models to scatter. You will need the Forest Pack Pro plugin installed.
